From Craft Magazine’s blog, here are these adorable, free, knit and felt mushroom patterns.
From my sister, here is a link for a very cool letter writting template. You print out a pattern, write your letter, fold on the dotted lines, address it where indicated, then stick a stamp on it and voila! They even ask you to design your own, giving them credit of course, and they will feature it on their site. Unfortunately, it appears they use some sort of open source design-ware that I didn’t have so with my crafty-design ways, I just used one of their downloadable PDFs to make my own template.
This weekend Erica and I made homemade marshmallows. They came out so great and we now we have plans for all sorts of flavors and varieties. After her family didn’t understand why we would make our own marshmallows she told me “nobody understands our love of marshmallows.”
Lastly, Friday night the Makers, my local art group, decided it was about time to put together a blog, to keep all of our group things organized: minutes, future plans, etc. So, here it is, the brand spanking new Makers Art Group blog.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
Now when the apocolypse happens and everyone is running amuck – not knowing how to make anything for themselves – we know where to go for our marshmallow stash!
1). Those mushrooms are adorable. I believe we should make a mushroom garden for Mom.
2). I want in on this marshmallow action! I have always wondered if banana marshmallows would be any good (ok, not really but it sounds good to me now).
