It’s been a rough couple of weeks in Robynville. An emotional rollercoaster, let’s say. I had a bad feeling as February approached, and there has been a lot of introspection, thinking and breaking down.
Tonight while I worked on these mini collages I locked the door to my studio, turned up the music and got to work. Who knew that getting rid of some excess furniture in my studio would lend itself to open space conducive to impromptu solo dance parties, and how therapeutic it would be to just close my eyes and shake a tail feather.
There are 8 mini collages here, which will eventually be used as the basis for mini paintings, like these:
i love your work!!! these collages & paintings are awesome- so neat to see them side by side. super inspiring. i so admire your ability to trudge forward with your craft and work when you are not feeling tops- that’s no easy feat. but i do know that usually so much amazing awesomeness comes out of it, so bravo!!! yay! let’s dance!
