Within the last couple weeks I ran out of both mailers and my purchase packs (pre-stuffed clear envelopes I put in with every order). So this weekend when I wasn’t getting my Halloween on, I was working on restocking.
It makes me so happy to see this box above. It’s a box of bubble mailers I bought long ago, but instead of buying more when I ran out, I just fill it with my own handmade mailers. Each one as beautiful and original as the next. I have to admit that I would rather receive something in one of these than any old manila envelope any day. Here is the tutorial that inspired it all.
I also created a new style of promo magnets. I’m working on the “coloring book” scribbler that I was inspired to create a couple weeks ago. And lastly, in the coming week I hope to create some more new scratch pads, this time I’m thinking matchbook style. All of these go in the purchase packs that have already been partially assembled.
The business side of selling my handmade items is more appealing when I put my personal touch on all elements through the process.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
I like getting these. They maketh me happy.
Me too. I always enjoy the little purchase pack and my kids like to look through and see what they want ;)
