I’m starting to get concerned messages and phone calls… “you haven’t posted your new piece for the day”. We made plans to go see District 9 tonight. After work I had just enough time to create today’s piece and list it to my shop.
Now I’m back and only just a bit more disturbed from the film. It was good, but, well, no spoilers here. You have to see it for yourself.
Today’s piece was really fun to create. I just jumped in. It wasn’t complete until it had a run under the sewing machine. Some days you just have to play.
Speaking of play…I have a bit of exciting news. I was approached to write articles for Hello Craft regarding Daily Artwork, and today my first piece is up. Please go check it out.
Sweet dreams everyone. I know I will need them after the movie tonight :O

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
I’ve been wanting to see that! And the stitching on that piece definitely puts the finishing touch on it! Love it. As usual. I finally added another something to my Etsy shop. I’ve neglected it. But I feel like I’m turning a corner.
Love it! So bold and beautiful. You are inspiring me so much to do the daily challenge myself. I just read your article too, and it filled me with hope and happiness – like your beautiful work.
Hugs and kisses,
Azra
